If you’ve been following along, every Friday we’ve been posting our top tips to making your Disney Trip as magical as possible, especially with a Disney Trip in tow. If you’re just tuning in, here’s what we’ve covered so far — with so many more to come!
For folks new to travelling to Walt Disney World, we started off with an overview of the basics for planning your Disney trip with a Special Diet. This includes checking out those menus, planning the Advance Dining Reservations, and what to do about additional food needs, such as groceries.
There are multiple kinds of dining experiences at Walt Disney World, and since eating safely is such as perk of the parks, we talk about them in detail. The sooner that you can let Special Diets know about your needs, the better… mostly because it will be better for your tastebuds! At Table Service restaurants, chefs will come directly to your table and help you plan a safe and delicious meal. At Quick Service restaurants, the manager will take your order and then handle its preparation from start to finish themselves.
Then there is deciding where to stay. We outline all of the possibilities and levels of resorts, including the pros and cons of each one. We include some general details, but mostly divulge our insider knowledge and experiences of what we love and loathe about the specific resorts. So far, we’ve covered all of the Value Resorts, Moderate Resorts, and Deluxe Resorts. The Villas will be on their way, soon.
We’re continually adding more tips about snacks, dining, and menus, too — after all, the unique thing about planning a Disney Trip with a Special Diet is that you have a special diet… so you have to know about the food! We talk about our Title Sponsor Enjoy Life Foods’ role at Disney here, the Disney Dining Plan here, some of our top Special Diets Snack Secrets here, and there is so much more to come!
We’ve also given some tricks and tips on what to pack pre-trip–after all, when you have food allergies, celiac disease, or other ailments, chances are, you like to play it safe, and there is a little extra trip prep involved.
Finally, we’ve dished out the details on Disney park tickets, so while you’re here for the weekend, you can see where you can stop in and have some fun! We’ll be adding more on the individual parks in upcoming weeks.
As always, feel free to comment or email us with your ideas, questions, comments, tips, and anything else that we can include about planning your trip to Walt Disney World this fall. We’re so excited to have you along for the fun!
