  1. The chocolate flourless cake at Olivia’s at the Old Key West Resort (in fact, the entire dinner was great!). My son and I had not had a decent cake since our diagnoses the year prior. The chef went over the meal he would personally prepare and recommended the cake. It was light, moist…absolutely delicious! We even went back a couple months later, requested the same server and had the cake again!

  2. The caterpillar sushi at Kona cafe with the banana chocolate creme brule for desert …Omg it was one of the best meals I have ever had in my gf life :) just writing about it makes me want to go there for dinner asap :) maybee I will eat there on the weekend of convention if I win tickets….hint hint ….wink wink :)

  3. This will be our first trip to Disney with food allergies. I am looking forward to trying the allergy friendly Mickey Waffles. The beignets at Port Orleans also sound delicious!

  4. O’hana made a nut and soy free alternative meal for my allergic son- appetizer, desserts, multiple entrees. It was awesome!

  5. Yesterday morning I visited the Wave at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast. Chef Laura made me GF eggs benedict with a lime hollandaise and breakfast potatoes. Combined with the mocha coffee drink…this was an amazing breakfast!

  6. My last trip to Disney was filled with so many amazing gluten free items! (The cast members and chefs were incredibly kind and helpful.) But, I will have to say my favourite was the crispy rice treates in the Main Street Confectionary. The Cast Member there took the time to show me what I could have in the store, and assured me that those would not cause a reaction. She has a little sister who is incredibly sensitive and she has to be careful with the things she gives her. It was so sweet and that’s why the little crispy rice balls were my favourite.

    • Kyera – none of the Rice Krispies treats at Disney are GF because they contain barley malt. You can get Marshmallow Dream Bars at Starbucks locations at Disney.

  7. The popcorn brittle at California Grill was amazing, but we’ve only had it once. We get to enjoy the fried chicken at Prime Time and gfree waffles/pancakes more often.

  8. It has been awhile since we have been to disney. Never since we have kids…and we are very excited to try anything peanut/nut allergy friendly. I hear disney is wonderful about allergies and also children with disabilities. My daughters would LOVE to go to disney.

    • so many delicious menu items! our family so enjoys Boma at breakfast time. the staff was so kind that they brought me a special treat of a zebra dome on a special plate just because i wanted to try one! the kenya coffee is also amazing.

  9. Our multiple food allergic sons as well as the whole families favorite meal @ a Disney park would be Liberty Tree Tavern! Their fresh, (made there only) Strawberry Vinaigrette is my boys most asked for meal! They skip desert and ask for another round of Salad! They are 7 &10 so that has to tell you how yummy it is! They whole, custom made allergy safe meal is amazing. It is served family style and their Chefs are a notch above even the most out going Disney wonderful chef. Their seasonal roasted veggies are my personal favorite! Worth a reservation or stop in & tell them you have food allergies and watch the magic unfold!

  10. I always make sure to head to Raglan Road in Downtown Disney. They have an amazing gluten free batter. I eat the gf fish and chips and my daughter gets the gf shrimp off the kid’s menu! The onion rings are amazing too!

  12. there are so many to pick! I recently had the GF mickey Waffles with whipped mascarpone cheese, honey, and chopped pecans at Kouzzina. They are closing this month permanently. :O( My other Fav is the Pan-asian noodles at Kona Cafe!

  13. Ohhh the beignets! It has been years since I had something so wonderful and fluffy. Loved it. And the waffles of course. That was a nice bonus to find this year my sister surprised me with. 😊 and just want to say Thanks Disney you make it easy to enjoy my favorite place and not have to worry about packing food.
