Meet Our Vendors! is an ongoing series where you’ll be able to get a sneak peek of who you’ll see in November! Feel free to leave comments and questions–for us and for the vendor–about products, practices, and anything else that’s on your mind.

It’s not uncommon for folks yet to be diagnosed with celiac disease to feel pretty miserable. Ana’s one of them, who spent a childhood and early adulthood feeling sick with every bite she ate. After ending up in the hospital, and months of testing and seeing specialists, she was finally diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Frustrated with the options available at the stores, she began to follow her dream of mine to one day own and operate a restaurant. And, of course, she wasn’t going to let having celiac disease stand in the way. Now she creates mouth-watering goodies that just happen to be gluten-free… and we’re so excited to have to her at the Food Allergy & Celiac Convention.

Here’s a little more of what goes on behind the scenes at Ana’s Bakery:

1. What’s the most memorable time you’ve experienced with an Ana’s Bakery fan?

My most memorable time was getting to see the birthday girl Victoria, see her cake. She had a Cinderella themed third birthday, so a Cinderella castle cake was only fitting. I actually teared up seeing how happy it made her.

2. Anna & Elsa are planning a Frozen inspired cupcake party with Olaf! What Ana’s Bakery item would you serve at the cupcake party?

I would serve my double chocolate cupcake with my decadent chocolate buttercream frosting. The cupcake would be topped with white chocolate snow flakes.

3. The team at FACCWDW love dessert and has middle-of-the-night hankering for cake. Do you deliver? (Just kidding). But the real question is, how can non-locals enjoy your goods?

I am equipped to ship anywhere in the US. I actually just shipped an order to Alaska. I ship regularly to a customer in New Jersey. So Orlando is no problem! :)

4. If you could create a new bakery product inspired by a Disney Park or attraction, what would it be?

I would create, actually have created Mickey Mouse themed Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
