First Look at FACC 2015: Back to the Dessert Party

If you celebrated with us before the Food Allergy & Celiac Convention in 2015 that was hosted at Coronado Springs, you know our roots are in the elusive Dessert Party, a special event featured at the Walt Disney World Resort that isn’t allergy-friendly at all.

That’s where we come in. We bring the Dessert Party to you: completely free of gluten and the top 8 allergens.

In 2013 and 2014, an allergy-free Dessert Party was hosted at Epcot, the latter combined with a weekend of extra events and a lunch and learn at Raglan Road.

Here are some FAQ about the event so far, and we’ll answer all of your questions as they come along:

When is the event?

This year’s event is on October 18th, 2015

Where is the event going to be located?

At the French Terrace & Rue de Paris in the France Pavilion at Epcot. The address is 200 Epcot Center Dr., Orlando, FL, Walt Disney World. It is inside the World Showcase at the Epcot theme park.

Do I need tickets for the event?

Yes, adult and children tickets will be on sale soon.

Do I need tickets to get into Epcot?

Yes, you can purchase a single ticket for Epcot. There are also half day tickets available. If you are making a trip out of it, you might want to explore Park Hopper or multi-day park pass options.

What about the vendor expo and speakers?

While we reimagine 2016’s event, this year returns to our roots to provide a magical experience that can not be offered anywhere else. It focuses on providing our guests with an event specifically designed for them, one that is generally out of bounds for food allergies.

What will the Dessert Party be like?

This is a twist from the traditional Dessert Party hosted at Epcot… typically not for folks with food allergies or celiac disease. Just like the original, guests get to “celebrate the cultures of the world with a confection of exquisitely crafted sweets from around the globe.” Not only that, but a clear view of the World Showcase is straight ahead, highlighting the “symphony of color and sound during the Epcot nighttime fireworks spectacular,IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.”

What else do we get?

We have a lot of magic up our sleeves for the night of the party with swag, giveaways, and more. And having Enjoy Life Foods once again as our title sponsor, they are set to make the evening and weekend even more magical.

Will there be other events throughout the weekend?

Yes, stay tuned to our Facebook page and website.

I have another question.
